Returning To Early Morning Writing
Now that Pixiegrind Ink is up and ready to roll, I am excited about returning to my 4 A.M. playtime with Marnie Baranuik. I had announced earlier that the murder mystery that I’m also writing would feature Constable Patrick Schenk, but it turns out, that character has changed quite a bit. He’ll reveal his name and true nature in his own sweet time. For now, I play with Marnie. Book 5 is nearly half finished, and I’m very happy with the direction its taking. I think readers will be rooting for more than just Marnie in this one. Can’t say more. No spoilers, here.
I am also being called by a house in my mind, and a family conflict, and I think this story needs to stew a bit before it sorts itself out. I guess that’s vague. I’m so tired these days, but it’s a good tired. It’s an accomplished tired. I feel very confident about the steps I’m currently taking. Pixiegrind Ink will be delivering so much in the fall and winter of 2016/2017. I feel honoured for the opportunity to be a part of it.
